At the ASABE Annual international Meeting in Pittsburgh last June, CSBE member, Shahab Sokhansanj was recognized with an ASABE President's citation. The citation acknowledged Shahab‟s leadership and outreach to industry and government agencies in the bioenergy engineering area on behalf of the ASABE. Shahab was also recognized for out-standing leadership as a co-chair of Bioenergy 2009 that was held October 11-14, 2009 in Bellevue, Washington.
