The conference will include workshops, technical sessions, networking receptions, tours, a guest program, the CSBE Awards Banquet and the CSBE Annual General Meeting. The conference and invited speakers will showcase the interdisciplinary nature of engineering problem solving and will highlight successful collaborations between academia and industry.

The CSBE/SCGAB held its Annual Meeting and Technical Conference in Saskatoon on July 7-10 2013. The conference was a success with more than 125 participants and 114 technical presentations (32 posters and 82 oral presentations). Themes covered were anaerobic digestion, animal productiom, bioenergy, biofuel, biomass, bioprocessing, crop production, environment, ergonomics, grain storage, machinery, modeling, postharvest technology, quality assessment, and soil and water. 4 workshops were given to members for professional development and 3 technical tours to learn more about bioengineering activities in surrounding Saskatoon.
