Bienvenu !

Serge-Étienne Parent, professor of the Soils and Agri-Food Engineering Department

After 5 years as professional staff member of the Département des sols et de génie agroalimentaire, Serge-Étienne Parent was appointed on June 1st as tenure-track assistant professor in bio-numerical engineering.

Serge-Etienne is an ecology engineer specialized in analysis, modelling and design of living systems. He is already supervising graduate students in corn (MSc) and potato (PhD) fertilization. For now, his academic tasks are to teach a course in «Basic concepts in agricultural-environment engineering», as well as he will tutor undergraduate students with their engineering project assignments. Among his future projects, he plans to develop a course in scientific calculation applied to ecology and agronomy, as well as to explore the creation of a new undergraduate program in ecological engineering.

Welcome !
